Water buffalo spotted swimming 5.4 kilometers in Yangtze River
A water buffalo was recently spotted on the side of the Yangtze River in East China’s Jiangsu Province, with surveillance footage capturing the animal’s incredible 5.4-kilometer swim across the river.
After receiving a call from a citizen, local police launched an investigation and discovered that the water buffalo had entered the Yangtze River from a port and had successfully made its way to the shores following a 5.4-kilometer swim.
Following a search, police located the water buffalo’s owner and returned the animal to safety.
