Five people, including three minors, injured in knife attack in Beijing: police

Five people, including three minors, were injured in a knife attack incident in Beijing on Monday afternoon. None of the injured is in life-threatening condition, according to police. 

The incident occurred in Beijing' s Haidian District, near the intersection of Wanquanzhuang Road and Wanliuzhong Road at around 3:20pm on Monday. The suspect, surnamed Tang (male, 50 years old), was subdued at the scene. The injured were promptly taken to the hospital for treatment and are not in life-threatening condition. 

The case is currently under further investigation, according to Beijing Haidian police.
